China's lithium carbonate imports stood at 32,700 tonnes in April, up 8.9% month on month and up 15.2% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC).
Specially, the imports from Chile amounted to 21,400 tonnes, up 16.9% month-on-month and up 5.6% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the imports from Argentina reached 9,600 tonnes, up 15.2% month-on-month and 39.5% year-on-year.
China's imports of lithium carbonate from January to 15.2% totaled 115,900 tonnes, an increase of 46.9% YoY.
