FLASH: Albemarle closes spodumene auction at USD $2,704.5/tonne (SC6 CIF)

On the afternoon of May 20, Albemarle concluded its spodumene auction, offering 15,840 dry tonnes of spodumene concentrate with an indicative grade of approximately 5.3–5.5%. The transaction price, adjusted to SC6 CIF, was USD $2,704.5/tonne. Shipment is expected to depart in early June and arrive at port in late June, with delivery on a self-pickup basis at Zhenjiang Port.
