Recently, the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment announced the first public notice regarding the construction project of Yichang Churui New Materials Co., Ltd. for an annual output of 150,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium iron phosphate (LFP).
The project is located in Xingshan County, Yichang City, Hubei Province. It plans to construct a new battery-grade LFP production line, along with supporting auxiliary facilities such as power supply systems (high and low voltage), purified water stations, circulating and chilled water stations, air separation and nitrogen generation units, air compressors, and wastewater treatment stations. Once completed, the project will achieve an annual production capacity of 150,000 tonnes of battery-grade LFP.
