On May 20, Putailai announced that it plans to invest in the construction of a lithium-ion battery separator production project with an annual capacity of 7.2 billion square meters, with a total planned investment of Yuan 5.6 billion.
The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase, with an investment of Yuan 2.6 billion, will achieve an annual production capacity of 3.2 billion square meters. The second phase, with an investment of Yuan 3.0 billion, will add an annual capacity of 4.0 billion square meters.
