China's lithium hydroxide exports dropped 17.5% month on month and dropped 49.6% year-on-year to 370.20 tonnes in April, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
Among the total, exports to South Korea stood at 130.00 tonnes, down 65.3% month-on-month but up 209.5% year-on-year. Exports to Japan totaled 141.08 tonnes, up 3,930.9% month-on-month but down 64.8% year-on-year.
From January to April, China's cumulative lithium hydroxide exports reached 1,886.31 tonnes, up 6.6% year-on-year. Exports to South Korea totaled 1,095.02 tonnes, up 726.5% year-on-year, while exports to Japan amounted to 252.69 tonnes, down 65.8% year-on-year.
