April marks China's first-ever net export month for HDPE

China became a net High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) exporter for the first time in April. According to data from the General Administration of Customs of PRC (GACC), in April 2026, China's HDPE net export volume stood at 12,600 tonnes. HDPE imports totaled 257,000 tonnes, down 35.02% MoM, while exports totaled 269,600 tonnes, up 185.39% MoM.
