China PA66 import dependency hits a record low in Jan-Apr 2026

China's Jan-Apr 2026 PA66 import dependency fell to a record low of 11.39% (GACC, OilChem), as domestic output surged 37.6% YoY to 355,000 tonnes. Supply growth (37.6%) outpaced demand growth (25.61%), accelerating import substitution. OilChem attributes the rise to capacity expansion and stable upward prices, with the industry now highly self-sufficient.
