China Jan-Apr PVC paste resin imports down 9% YoY

China's Jan-Apr PVC paste resin imports fell 9% YoY to 34,700 tonnes (GACC, OilChem). April imports plunged 34.56% MoM due to rising domestic supply (new 120,000 t/y plant) and Middle East disruptions. Taiwan, China remains the largest source. OilChem expects imports to stay low, with medium- and low-end grades facing accelerating import substitution.
