On May 26, the People's Government of Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai, held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with Guoxiang Shi Ji New Energy Group, marking the official launch of a solid-state battery industrial complex project in Anting Town, Jiading District.
The project has a planned total investment of approximately Yuan 10 billion, with Yuan 3 billion in the first phase, aiming to establish a benchmark new energy industrial cluster integrating R&D, manufacturing, and energy storage demonstration, supporting Shanghai's goal of becoming a global hub for new energy technology innovation.
The signed project includes three core initiatives, including a solid-state battery intelligent manufacturing line, a global R&D center for solid-state batteries, and a 100MW/400MWh solid-state battery independent shared energy storage demonstration power station, forming a fully integrated closed-loop system covering technology, manufacturing, and applications.
Among these, the solid-state battery intelligent manufacturing line focuses on the mass production of 500 Ah large-capacity pouch-type solid-state cells. Guoxiang Shi Ji New Energy stated that the products offer four key advantages, including high safety, long cycle life, a wide operating temperature range, and ultra-fast charging. They are widely applicable to EVs, energy storage, commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, marine vessels, low-altitude equipment, and data center computing hubs.
