On June 12, Fengyuan Corporation announced that, as of the disclosure date of this announcement, the first-phase project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material has been completed and put into operation. Among the second-phase 100,000-tonne LFP cathode material project, a production line with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes has also been completed and put into operation, while the remaining projects are still under construction.
On June 12, 2026, the company's Sixth Board of Directors convened its 21st meeting, at which the Proposal on External Investment by the Wholly-Owned Subsidiary was reviewed and approved. The company agreed to have its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fengyuan Yunnan, invest in and construct a new production line with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes of high-performance lithium battery LFP cathode material. This investment constitutes the third phase of the 200,000-tonne high-energy lithium battery cathode material and supporting related project.
Concurrently, Fengyuan Yunnan will carry out an upgrade and renovation of the already operational first-phase 50,000-tonne LFP production line, with the production capacity remaining unchanged after the renovation. Upon completion, the products from these production lines will primarily be high-performance lithium battery LFP cathode materials. The total estimated investment for this new construction and upgrade project for high-performance lithium battery LFP cathode materials shall not exceed Yuan 820 million.
