CCMA: China's excavator sales jump 26% YoY to top 150,000 units in H1

China’s sales of excavators to both domestic and overseas customers rose steadily during this year’s first half, leaping by 26.4% on year to hit 152,320 units, according to the latest data released by the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA).

This represented the highest volume for any January-June period since 2021, Mysteel Global noted. Within the total, excavator sales in the domestic market increased by 20.4% on year to 79,025 units over January-June (including 186 electric excavators), while excavator exports swelled 33.5% on year to 73,295 units (including 135 electric models), the CCMA data showed.
