GACC: China's H1 Mn ore imports jump 21% on year

China's manganese ore imports totaled 17.5 million tonnes during the first half of this year, rising by a significant 3.06 million tonnes or 21.2% from the same period last year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

During June alone, China imported 3.02 million tonnes of manganese ore, jumping by 289,135 tonnes or 10.6% from May, the GACC statistics showed. The major overseas miners increased their shipments to China during the first half of this year, with the volume delivered to China's major ports climbing higher in
