On July 27, the Yichun Tendering Network published the "Public Consultation Draft of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Information Announcement for the Zunkouli–Jianxiawo Lithium Mine Mining Project in Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province." The EIA for the project, operated by Yichun Times New Energy Mining Co., Ltd., has now entered the public participation phase.
Previously, in December 2025, the Jianxiawo lithium mine released its initial EIA information announcement, after which the project entered a six-month period of informational silence. The posting of this consultation draft indicates that the compilation of the EIA report has been substantially completed and has officially proceeded to the statutory public participation stage.
