On August 6, Lopal Technology issued an announcement stating that its board of directors had deliberated and approved the proposal on 'Entering into Continuing Connected Transaction Agreements with LG ENERGY SOLUTION'. Given that LGES holds 20% of the equity interest in Lopal (Indonesia) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a three-tier subsidiary of the Company, LGES is regarded as a connected person pursuant to the Hong Kong Listing Rules. For the purpose of regulating the transactions between the parties, the Company executed separate continuing connected transaction agreements with LGES covering procurement and sales, and stipulated the annual transaction caps for 2026–2028. The transactions in question do not constitute connected transactions as defined under the relevant rules of the Shanghai Stock Exchange."
