Simfer ships 2.2 mln t iron ore to China from Simandou in H1 2026

SimFer, the joint venture between the Government of Guinea, Rio Tinto and the Chinalco-led Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH) consortium, has reported continued operational progress at the Simandou iron ore project, with its total iron ore shipments to China reaching 2.2 million tonnes in the first half of 2026.
