China LPG port inventories surge on concentrated arrivals

Following successful US-Iran talks in June, importers locked in lower-cost cargoes, driving a surge in LPG arrivals from late July to early August. Weekly average arrivals more than doubled to 876,900 tonnes, up 100% from the previous period, pushing port inventories to 2,882,700 tonnes by August 10, up 970,000 tonnes or 50.77% from July 9, with the inventory ratio rising to 42.66%.
