According to the Mining Export Declaration data from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for the period from January to June, a total of 1,282 declaration entries for cobalt hydroxide exports were recorded, with mining companies as the declaring entities. The aggregate declared volume amounts to 68,185 dry metric tonnes (DMT), with an average grade of 37.13%, equivalent to a cobalt metal content of 25,388.24 tonnes.
This dataset pertains specifically to Lualaba Province and includes four Chinese central and local state-owned enterprises, one Swiss mining company, one Central Asian mining company, one Indian company, and one local DRC state-owned enterprise. Major local mining companies (the leading miners in the region) are not included in this statistical scope.
