The Qinghai Provincial Investment Project Online Approval and Supervision Platform shows that Qinghai Weixiang Technolog's 3,000-tonne lithium sulfide project has recently completed the filing of an enterprise investment project. The project, with a total investment of Yuan 81.319 million, is located in Golmud City, Qinghai Province, and involves the construction of a 3,000 t/y lithium sulfide production line and supporting facilities, to be implemented in two phases. In detail, Phase I with an annual capacity of 500 tonnes, and Phase II with an annual capacity of 2,500 tonnes.
Upon full completion, the project will achieve an annual lithium sulfide output of 3,000 tonnes, while also being compatible with the production of 10,000 tonnes per year of lithium sulfate.
