China issues overseas competition and compliance guidelines for auto industry

China's central government has issued guidelines on overseas competition and compliance for the country's automotive industry, aiming to support its long-term, healthy international development and strengthen companies' compliance capabilities and global competitiveness.

The Guidelines on Overseas Competition Conduct and Compliance for the Automotive Industry, issued jointly on September 1 by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and State Administration for Market Regulation, contain 20 articles across four chapters, covering overseas marketing and other competitive practices, as well
