On August 30, Cornex's 70GWh lithium-ion battery industrial park project in the Xiangyang High-tech Zone, Hubei Province, was officially put into operation. This milestone marks the transition of this 70GWh-capacity mega-plant from the construction, equipment installation, and commissioning phases to full-scale production operations. With this launch, Cornex's strategic layout of "one headquarter and four production bases" has been formally established, further cementing its standing as a leading global player in the lithium-battery industry.
The project broke ground on October 28, 2025, and the first batch of products rolled off the production line in just 10 months, a remarkably swift execution. Covering a site area of approximately 107 hectares with a total built floor space of 1.05 million square meters, the facility ranks among Cornex's most intelligent and vertically integrated production bases to date.
