Mexico finalizes AD duties on aluminum profiles from China and US

Mexico's Ministry of Economy has imposed definitive anti-dumping (AD) duties on aluminum extrusions imported from China and the United States. The measures, published two final rulings, cover aluminum profiles and bars as well as hollow aluminum profiles and took effect the day after publication, according to information posted on China's Trade Remedy Information website on September 9.

Both investigations were initiated in March 2025 in response to an application lodged by Indalum, S.A. de C.V. (Indalum) and Cuprum, S.A. de C.V.
