China's butadiene port inventory plunges 27.48% on week

Port inventory of butadiene in China plunged recently, as the impact of Middle East tensions sharply reduced butadiene flows from Japan and South Korea to China, further intensifying the tight supply situation in the domestic butadiene market.

Butadiene inventory has shown a persistent downward trend in the first half of the month. The weekly sample inventory totaled 34,700 tonnes as of September 10, down by 14.44% week-on-week.
