According to the Ya'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, the first public disclosure of the eco-environmental impact assessment information for the CATL Ya'an Lithium Salt Production Base Project, developed by CATL (Ya'an) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., has been released.
It is reported that CATL (Ya'an) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest Yuan 1.4 billion to construct the CATL Ya'an Lithium Salt Production Base Project beside Gongxing Road in the Yongxing Industrial Zone of the Ya'an Economic Development Zone. The project covers an area of approximately 350 mu, with a main building area of about 130,000 square meters.
The company will purchase internationally leading production equipment and supporting facilities for manufacturing lithium carbonate and lithium dihydrogen phosphate, and build production plants and auxiliary supporting facilities with an annual capacity of approximately 40,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate, 30,000 tonnes of lithium dihydrogen phosphate, and 130,000 tonnes of anhydrous sodium sulfate.
