Taiwan's CSC raises major steel list prices for Nov sales

China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's largest steel mill headquartered in South Taiwan's Kaohsiung, has decided to increase the list prices of its major steel products including hot-rolled coil (HRC) and cold-rolled coil (CRC) by TWD 900/tonne ($28.2/t) each for local sales in November, according to the company's latest release published on its website.

This marks CSC's second consecutive monthly price hike, bringing the cumulative increase in HRC prices to TWD 1,500/t over the two-month period, Mysteel Global noted. The integrated steelmaker pointed out that global oil prices have been hovering at high levels, and steelmaking costs for mills have also remained high on
