China's natural gas market is expected to gradually ease in 2027 as additional pipeline gas supplies and rising LNG imports improve availability, according to OilChem forecasts. Apparent consumption is projected to increase by 3.6% year on year to 431 billion cubic meters (bcm), while total supply is forecast at 461.5 bcm, putting downward pressure on gas prices despite a recovery in demand.
