On October 30, the Yichun Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau issued an announcement on the approval decision for the environmental impact assessment (EIA) documents of the mining project of Yichun Times New Energy Mining Co., Ltd. for the Jianxiawo Lithium Mine in Yifeng County and Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province. In accordance with relevant regulations and upon review, the Bureau has made an approval decision on the EIA documents for the said project. The approval decision is hereby announced, and the announcement period is seven days from the date of issuance of this announcement.
This project is a new construction project and is intended to mine the Jianxiawo Lithium Mine. The designed mining recovery rate of the lithium mine is 98%. The designed utilized ore resource volume of the mine is 513.525 million tonnes, the ore mining volume is 30 million tonnes per year, and the designed service life is 18 years. The total project investment is approximately Yuan 4.35443 billion, of which environmental protection investment is approximately Yuan 288.04 million, accounting for approximately 6.61% of the total investment.
