CVWorld: China's heavy truck sales fall by 13% YoY in October

After their 6.5% on-year decline in September, sales of Chinese heavy-duty trucks in October slowed further, with the estimated sales volume for the month both from makers direct to dealers and for export reaching 92,000 units, down by 13% from October 2025. This marked the fourth consecutive on-year decline since July. Moreover, if compared on-month October’s result was also 6.8% below September’s.

This is according to preliminary estimates released by the Beijing-headquartered Commercial Vehicle World (CVWorld), a well-recognized market intelligence provider on China's truck manufacturing sector. Based on this estimate, combined heavy truck sales over January-October will amount to nearly 1.02 million units, though the on-year growth rate would slow to 10% for the first ten months,
