On June 28, the China National Resources Recycling Association (CRRA) held a press conference in Beijing to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The president Xu Junxiang suggested that, China is about to usher in a wave of power battery decommissioning, and the recycling market of retired power batteries has great potential. Doing a good job in the recycling and utilization of waste power batteries is of great significance to improving the efficiency of resource utilization and ensuring the sustainable and healthy development of the new energy automobile industry.
Statistics show that at present, there are more than 90,000 renewable resource recycling enterprises in China, most of which small and medium-sized ones with about 13 million people engaged. The recycling network, from collection, sorting to logistics, has been established and improved in most places in the country.
Xu believes that in the face of increasingly severe environmental pollution and resource shortages, China's demand for renewable resources will continue to grow. With the empowerment of the Internet, the "Internet + recycling" model will also become a clear trend in the industry.
