Anglo American's H1 copper output up 10%, nickel off 8%

Anglo American plc saw copper output from its Chilean mines grow sustainably during the first half of this year, gaining 10% on year to 313,000 tonnes, according to the Anglo's Q2 report released on July 19. The global diversified miner with headquarters in London and Johannesburg, cited higher grades of ore mined and growing efficiency in mines and plants to explain the rise in copper.
