INDEX NOTICE:Mysteel proposes to launch Seaborne 58% High-Alumina Fines Index

As the increasing market interest in low-grade fines, Mysteel has collected various valuable feedback and conducted a series of market surveys about the related market. In order to better reflect the industry trend and meet the changing market demand, Mysteel plans to launch the Seaborne 58% High-Alumina Fines Index on 9^th October 2023.

The specification of this new index is as the following table:

Along with feedback and survey results, Mysteel has commenced data tracking and testing for the past 6 consecutive months.

The standardized process and calculation methodology for this new index will be identical and aligned with all other Mysteel Seaborne indices. Meanwhile, feedback from all market participants will continue to be solicited throughout the transition period.
