FLASH: EU imposes definitive AD duties on keg imports from China

The European Commission has decided to impose definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of stainless steel refillable kegs originating in China for a period of five years, according to a statement on the Commission's official website on July 4. The duties imposed range from 62.6% to 69.6%, Mysteel Global noted.

The measures are effective from July 5 and follow an anti-dumping investigation initiated on May 13 2022 after a complaint was lodged by the European Kegs Committee in late March last year, the statement noted. The products under investigation are kegs, vessels, drums, tanks, casks and similar containers, refillable, of
