DAILY: China's thermal coal softens again as supply woes fade

China's mine-mouth thermal coal market softened again on May 22, as previous support that solely came from supply reduction faded as miners have generally resumed normal operations after an important international summit.

The majority of coal mines that curtailed output in Shenmu and Yuyang, both in coal heartland Yulin city in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, have returned to normal production this week, while most private mines in Fugu and Hengshan, also in Yulin city, were heard to be on the way
