WEEKLY: Seaborne PLV coking coal prices still stressed

As of April 9, Mysteel’s premium low-volatile (PLV) hard coking coal price assessment, mainly sampling Australian resources, slid $3.25/tonne on week to $128.5/t as global demand softened, while the premium medium-volatile (PMV) coking coal price stayed flat on week at $214/t with China’s buying enthusiasm showing signs of recovery.
