China's steel scrap recycled from ELVs seen picking up

China's steel scrap supply from the recycling of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) is likely to pick up this month as domestic car scrapping and dismantling enterprises will lift their operational rates, Mysteel's latest survey on the ELV sector suggests. The scrap dealers are hoping that the usual recovery in steel demand in autumn will flow through to them in active inquiries for ELV scrap.
