WEEKLY: China FeSi prices slip further, but output keeps climbing

Silicon Demand Inventory Price
With increased pressure from downstream steelmakers and falling production costs, China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices declined further in the past week, Mysteel Global found.
As of October 21, the price for 75% FeSi stood at Yuan 6,144.3/tonne ($862.7/t), down by Yuan 228.4/t from the recent high on October 14. A similar drop was seen in the futures market, with the most-traded January FeSi contract on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange closing the daytime trading at
