WEEKLY: China's FeSi market faces weaker fundamentals

Silicon Demand Inventory Price
China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices in both the physical and derivatives markets declined during the week of February 24-March 3, mainly due to weaker cost support and rising inventories, Mysteel Global noted.
On March 3, Mysteel assessed the price of 75% FeSi at Yuan 5,958/tonne ($817.9/t), down by another Yuan 41.2/t on week and marking the third consecutive weekly decline.   Similarly, futures prices mirrored this trend. The most-traded May FeSi contract on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange closed Monday's trading session at Yuan
