WEEKLY: China's FeSi prices weaken, output increases

Silicon Demand Inventory Price
China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices in both the physical and derivatives markets, saw some declines over February 10-17. However, domestic FeSi smelters maintained strong production interest last week, Mysteel Global notes.
Mysteel's latest assessment shows that by Monday, China's 75% FeSi prices had dropped by Yuan 33.6/tonne ($4.6/t) from February 10 to reach Yuan 6,087.9/t.   In the derivatives market, the most-traded FeSi contract on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange for May delivery closed at Yuan 6,248/t on Monday, marking a week-on-week decrease of
