More coal mines in Russia halt operations amid Western sanctions, weak prices

Nine coal mines in Kuzbass Basin Russia's largest coal-producing hub in Kemerovo region have halted operations so far due to broader Western sanctions, weak coal prices and rail transport bottlenecks, CCA Analysis reported.
