Russia becomes South Korea's second-largest aluminum supplier in 2025

Russia has significantly increased its exports of aluminum and aluminum products to South Korea during 2025. According to the South Korean Statistical Service, shipments in this September increased more than 1.5 times on year. The total value of Russian aluminum imports for the month reached $112.1 million.

In the first three quarters of 2025, South Korea purchased $988.5 million worth of Russian aluminum, also 1.6 times higher than last year.
