Indonesian thermal coal prices inched higher on October 21, aligning with the ongoing upticks in the Chinese domestic market, as Chinese buyers showed good demand for the cheaper seaborne thermal coal shipments.

On Tuesday, Mysteel assessed Indonesian 3,800 kcal/kg NAR thermal coal at $48/tonne FOB Kalimantan on a Panamax basis, up from $47.5/t a day earlier.
