WEEKLY: China mines' iron ore output down marginally, stocks retreat

After rising in the previous week, production of iron ore concentrates among Chinese mining companies edged down marginally during the past week due to increased maintenance stoppages at mines in northern China, according to Mysteel's latest survey.

During October 17-23, the combined output of iron ore concs among the 186 domestic mining and concentrating enterprises under Mysteel's regular tracking averaged 473,500 tonnes/day, nudging lower by 0.04% from the prior week.
