South Africa's chrome ore exports rebound in Sept on robust Chinese demand

After the decline seen in August, South Africa, the world's top chrome ore producer, reported a rebound in its chrome ore exports for September 2025.
Data released by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) reveal that the country exported around 2.34 million tonnes of chrome ore during the month, marking a 7.4% increase from August and a substantial 33% rise compared with the same month last year.     The surge was overwhelmingly driven by shipments to
