WEEKLY: China mines' iron ore output stable, stocks rebound

Production of iron ore concentrates among Chinese mining companies stayed flat during the past week, Mysteel's latest survey showed. Although many regions of the country saw local concs output expand, the growth was largely offset by the production cuts in East and Southwest China, the survey showed.

During November 14-20, the combined output of iron ore concs among the 186 domestic mining and concentrating enterprises under Mysteel's regular tracking averaged 475,000 tonnes/day, higher by just 200 t/d from the previous week, while their average capacity utilization rate was largely unchanged on week at 60.8%.
