DAILY: Sporadic price rises emerge in China's coking coal market

China's coking coal market saw sporadic price upticks on December 2, driven by slightly higher restocking interest from some downstream plants. However, the unrelenting selling pressures for most coal grades continued dragging prices lower, Mysteel learned.

The national composite coking coal price under Mysteel's assessment slipped by another Yuan 5.9/tonne ($0.8/t) from the previous session to sit at Yuan 1,336.6/t including the 13% VAT on Tuesday.
