MONTHLY: China's Nov FeSi output falls 7% on month

China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) output reversed down in November after touching a ten-month high in October, with the total volume falling by 34,238 tonnes or 6.8% on month to reach 471,100 tonnes, according to Mysteel's monthly survey among the 136 Chinese smelters under its regular tracking.

The sampled smelters host 90% of China's FeSi smelting capacity. During November, FeSi output among the sampled smelters averaged 15,703 tonnes/day, slipping by 597 t/d or 3.7% from the average for October, the findings showed.
