NDRC: China to tighten oversight on projects risking duel 'highs'

China will impose stricter controls on high-energy consumption and high-emission projects starting in 2026, Xiao Weiming, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced at a major conference on December 13.
