Domestically, the main DCE soybean meal contract (M05) experienced volatile and weaker movements. Soybean meal trading volumes continued to surge, with national transactions nearing 2.5 million tonnes in the first three days of this week. Of these, nearly 2 million tonnes were forward-month basis transactions, concentrated primarily in East China, Guangdong, Northeast China, Shandong, and North China, mostly involving basis contracts for May to July.
