WEEKLY: China's HRC output dips after 4-week rise

Hot-rolled coil (HRC) production among the 37 Chinese steelmakers regularly surveyed by Mysteel edged down slightly by 29,500 tonnes or 0.96% during January 15-21 to register 3.05 million tonnes and ending a four-week rise, the latest survey results showed.

Two steel mills in North China conducted maintenance work on their rolling lines last week, leading to the small retreat in HRC output, Mysteel Global learned.
