WEEKLY: China's iron ore stocks at 45 ports exceed 170 mln t

Imported Iron Ore Inventory
Inventories of imported iron ore stockpiled at China's 45 major ports under Mysteel's regular tracking rose further to a new high of 170.2 million tonnes by January 29, up by another 2.6 million tonnes or 1.5% on week, according to the latest survey result.
  Port congestion at these ports has eased recently with fewer new arrivals. During January 19-25, the volume of new iron ore arriving at the 45 surveyed ports dropped by 1.3 million tonnes or 4.9% on week to 25.3 million tonnes, and the number of vessels awaiting unloading at these
