China's coking coal output declined to a one-month low during the past week, since more miners curtailed or completely stopped production due to their early holiday leaves for the Chinese New Year that falls on February 17.
Mysteel learned from sources that some privately-owned mines scheduled longer holiday leaves than state-owned ones, which primarily contributed to the overall decline in output.
